About Us

We started in the spring of 2007 and have had a solid core of people coming ever since. The group typically runs between 15 and 25 people each week.

Acoustic instruments are welcome. We play predominantly Old Time, Contra Dance and Irish tunes in ensemble style (rather than break-passing style). This is an intermediate level session, although we frequently start tunes at an inclusive tempo and often pick them up in speed as we go.

We are continually bringing in new tunes and generally sheet music is available for the tunes we play. We have collected our favorite tunes into our own tune book, which you can download and print.
